History

The International Studbook for Djallonké Goat & Sheep (ISDGS) was established in 2020 and is managed by the African Ornamental Breeders Association (AOBA). Because of the gaining popularity of these breeds in Europe, and a lack of breed knowledge, breed recognision and a studbook operation. The studbook was also opened to breeders from Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK.
